Hannah Allen, Co-Editor-in-Chief
Hello everyone! My name is Hannah Allen. I am a sophomore at Sturgis that has recently joined the Sturgis Stormwatch. I am really passionate about many different things. Some of them being: biology, music, writing, wildlife, and traveling. Some of my many hobbies are: singing, playing the violin, playing the piano, baking, and donating my time to charity. When I first came into Sturgis, I was a little nervous about starting my high school career. But with time, I came to love Sturgis community and all my friends in it. I soon discovered the school newspaper called the Sturgis Stormwatch. I have always loved creatively writing. When I write, it’s like I'm creating and controlling this new world. I can turn said world into anything I want. So since I was given the opportunity to share my writing with the school, I took a chance and joined the paper. You may know some of my recent articles such as “New Teacher Spotlight” featuring Ms. Manrique or “The Sturgis Film Club”. I’ll admit that I was a little nervous at first to show my work to the world for I had never actually written for a paper before. But when the first paper came out, I was filled with so much pride seeing my article on the public page with all the other articles. This motivated me to continue to write for the Sturgis Stormwatch. So I am happy to say that you will see a lot more of my articles in the future. I am excited to be a new member of the Sturgis Stormwatch team and to be working with so many awesome writers. Thank you for reading the Sturgis Stormwatch and I look forward to writing my next story.
